Habits: Hibernates in caves, and roosts primarily in buildings and hollow trees during summer. These bats migrate between their summer range and a winter range. Mating occurs in the fall. Males and females segregate in the summer; females form nursery colonies and males are single or form small groups. Diet consists of insects, including aquatic insects. |
