Habitat: Rocky areas, semiarid brush, cedar-oak thickets, and in post oak and greenbriar in Oklahoma.

Habits: White-ankled Mice are omnivores and will eat seeds, nuts, cactus, and insects. They breed throughout the warmer months, and have about five young per litter.
