Habitat: Prairie areas.

Habits: Plains Harvest Mice are nocturnal animals that live on seeds and a few insects. Nests are composed of grasses and are either placed on the ground or above ground. Baby Plains Harvest Mice weigh only one-third the weight of a penny and are born throughout the warmer months.
