1841-42 Sloping Hair killed winter
This noted chief was killed during a horse raid into Texas. He is distinguished in the picture by his hair, worn with some short and some long.

1842 Repeated Summer
The double set of poles indicates that two dances were held, as two men had independently vowed to sponsor the ceremony. This was a rare event, recorded only twice in the calendar.
