Noble Corporation and Noble Energy
Orientation Gallery
Begin your visit to the museum in the Noble Corporation and Noble Energy Orientation Gallery. This interactive gallery will provide insight into the behind-the-scenes work of our museum's collections and research departments and answer the questions "What does the museum do?" "Why do they do it?" And "How does it get done?" Learn about the ongoing research of museum scientists, and get a glimpse at some of the most spectacular objects in the museum's extensive collections.

As you enter this gallery you will meet Sauroposeidon proteles, the world's tallest dinosaur, whose 40-foot-long neck and skull peek into the museum's Great Hall to greet visitors. Several neck bones of this one-of-a-kind dinosaur were found in southeast Oklahoma in 1994. Each neck bone measures more than 3 feet in length, but is incredibly light. In places the bone is no thicker than a fingernail.
