Student Asst. - Gift Shop

Will work in the Museum Gift Shop. Duties include acting as cashier, stocking merchandise, data entry, cleaning, dusting, & other duties as assigned.

Student Asst. - Visitor Services

Part-Time $7.50/hr. Req #19186

Performs a variety of tasks in the area of museum visitor services.

Birthday Party Host: duties include providing information about the program, supervising Discovery Room activities, providing gallery tours, all set up and clean up of party areas, refreshment service, payment processing, remaining on site during birthday program to ensure that museum policies and procedures are followed.

Customer Service Representative: duties include ticketing, collecting admission fees, dispensing information about the Museum & University to visitors, answering the Museum's main phone line, maintaining lobby displays, cash handling, opening and closing registers, and preparing daily financial reports.

Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Temporary Asst. - Education

Part-Time $7.50/hr. Req #19254

Will work with education staff and volunteers to facilitate the Discovery Room for general visitors and school groups, including some programming. Assist with set-up and clean up of Discovery Room. Will maintain, repair, and implement educational activities and exhibits, care for a few small live animals, and greet visiting school groups.

Other duties as assigned.

Summer Explorers Program Asst. - Education

THIS POSITION WILL RUN FROM 5/19/2014 THROUGH 8/5/2014

Will assist in facilitating the Summer Explorers Program, a series of summer camp programs at the Sam Noble Museum. Duties may include facilitating outdoor exploration, games, crafts, and science and nature programs. Will be responsible for assisting in the supervision of children ages 4-14 in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
