Publications & Promotions Specialist - Marketing/PR Specialist I

Full-Time.  $30,000.00.  Req. #21087

Responsible for writing and copy editing of publications. Conducts research and interviews to develop, write and edit newsletters, brochures, catalogs, and other publications. Responsible for management of museum’s social media platforms. Assist with the typeset and design of a large technical book on mammals, including formatting written species accounts and placing them alongside photos, maps, and illustrations to produce an effective and aesthetically pleasing end product. Bachelor’s degree and 12 months experience with writing, editing, graphic design, web page development, marketing, promotions, and public relations or advertising.

Outreach Education Coordinator

Full-Time.  $30,000.00.  Req. #20730

Responsible for the development and implementation of the Sam Noble Museum's educational outreach programming. Coordinates the ExplorOlogy program's activities, science field-camps for middle school and high school students, science outreach programs to Oklahoma organizations, and additional outreach education events. Assists with implementing teacher professional development workshops, K-12 school programs and general public interpretive programs and materials on-site.
