Meet and greet other meeting attendees with drinks and hors d’oeuvres, while listening to music in the beautifully restored Venetian Room. Named for its Italian renaissance décor, the Venetian Room is an elegant former dinner and dance club on the hotel’s 14th floor. The black mahogany wood paneling throughout and the Italian plaster moldings of its barrel ceiling have been carefully restored, and the more than 100 casement windows on all four sides of the room offer spectacular views of the Oklahoma City skyline. Live music will be provided by members of the string quartet Dynamic Expressions.

SNOMNH at night

This is your invitation to meet and socialize with colleagues while immersing yourself in the rich world of Oklahoma's natural history. The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History offers an elegant, exciting, and sophisticated venue for our conference banquet. While enjoying drinks at the pre-banquet social, you can mingle beneath a full-sized bronze sculpture of a mammoth in the museum's Great Hall.  Enjoy all of the museum's exhibit galleries, including the world's longest Apatosaurus skeleton, the only fully mounted Pentaceratops in the world, and the oldest painted object in the New World—the Cooper Skull. The museum gift store, Excavations, will also be open during the social from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. During the pre-banquet social and dinner, live music will be performed by Edgar Cruz. Edgar has been voted Oklahoma's Best Performing Artist/Acoustic Guitarist three years in a row. After the full-course dinner, enjoy the evening by listening and dancing to music provided by the DJ service A+ Entertainment. This promises to be a night to remember!
